Sack Kids Hunger
Every Saturday: Sack Kids Hunger, 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sack Kids Hunger started in November 2010 in response to the needs of children who receive breakfast and lunch during the school week, but have limited resources on weekends. Every Saturday from noon to 2 p.m., volunteers gather at the front steps of Buford First UMC to hand out sack lunches to children in our community. Children’s Shelter
Help us feed the families at the Gwinnett Children’s Shelter every second Tuesday of the month. A team of five can easily get the food for 30 to the shelter. Please contact Suzanne Clegg, mission@bufordfirstumc.org.

Thrift Shop
The Buford Thrift Shop, supported by the Buford Ministerial Association, helps those referred by local churches. On the third Wednesday of the month, they have a 25 cent sale and need volunteers.
