Traditional Service

Traditional Service

What to Expect

Our Traditional service is based on the Order of Worship for the United Methodist Church. We hold two services in the Sanctuary: one at 9 a.m. and the other at 11 a.m. Our Worship Order includes gathering, praising, praying, giving, learning, and serving. Music in these services plays a vital role and includes hymns, anthems, and special music, led by our various music ensembles and our organist.

Our worship is liturgical, rich with music, prayer, scripture, preaching, and sacrament. Music is led weekly by Gary Lenz, Director of Music and the Arts, and the Chancel Choir. When arriving, you will receive a bulletin with the order of service and songs. We provide hymnals for the service. During non-summer months, expect to see our Senior Pastor and Music Director in traditional robes.

Where to go

Traditional service occurs at 9 and 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings in our sanctuary. You can enter the sanctuary from the main front entrance or the side entrance from the parking lot, which has a ramp.
