December 22nd – Joyous News

Verse: Luke 2:8-20

Imagine what it would be like to have an angel appear to you with a message! Would you be scared? Excited? Confused? The shepherds were all of these things when the angel appeared to them to say that Jesus had been born.  Watch the Bible story video to see what the shepherds did after the angel’s visit.

December 15th – Jesus Brings Joy

Verse: Luke 2:1-7

The amazing, beautiful, awesome, blessed birth of Jesus!!!  In our story this week, we will join Mary and Joseph on their walk to Bethlehem and share the experience they had with no room at the inn and nowhere to go but inside a stable.  Watch the Bible story this week to see the beautiful story unfold.

November 24th – Peaceable Kingdom

Our Bible story this week references our story from last week when we spoke of Jacob’s ladder and Jacob’s dream. This week we hear an even bigger dream: God’s dream of peace and well-being for all He created.  God wants there to be peace among all His people no matter how different we all are. Watch the Bible story this week to learn what you can do to help God’s dream come true. God reminds us that He is with us now and will protect us wherever we go. Our story comes from Isaiah 11:6-9.

November 17th – Jacob’s Ladder

We continue to learn more about the sons of Isaac this week as we hear about Jacob’s dream known as Jacob’s Ladder. November 3rd Sermon – The Birthright

This week, we learn more about Jacob and Esau as they grow up. Esau was the older brother because he was born first and that meant he would inherit all the land, animals, property and money. Jacob would not be given anything other than what he earned, which made him not so happy. One day, Esau had been out hunting but did not find anything to eat, so he came home and saw Jacob making a big pot of stew. He wanted some and, when Jacob said he would trade a bowl of stew for Esau’s right to inherit everything, Esau gave it all up in an instant just for the stew. Later, he wished he had not given it up. It made him realize he should have thought about the consequences of his actions and taken a minute to think things through before he answered.

October 20th Sermon – Isaac is Born

This week, we learn more about Sarah and Abraham as they welcome their son. Sarah names her son, Isaac, which means laughter. She laughed when the visitor told her that God would bless her with a child, and she laughed again when her son was born. This time, her laughter was that of pure joy. God brings joy to our lives in so many ways through laughter, love and friendship. Our story comes from Genesis 21:17.
