Annual Fall Festival

~~~ 2011 Fall Festival Recap ~~~
Thanks for joining us on Sunday, October 30, 2011 and making our 2011 Fall Festival such an amazing success! Read below to see all the fun stuff we had going on, and see you next Fall!
BFUMC’s annuals Fall Festival is back, so mark your calendars for a night of family fun on Sunday, October 30th from 4:30 – 7:00 pm.  The Fall Festival is open to the entire community so please come by if you can!
Here are some of the fun things planned for this great family day!
  • Trunk or Treat
  • Costume Contest (ALL ages are welcome to enter)
  • Cake Walk
  • S’mores tent
  • Youth selling hot dogs, chips, and drinks
  • Hayrides throughout downtown Buford
  • Jumpy house for the young set to enjoy
The festivities start at 4:30 with games, hayrides, face painting, the moon bounce, and food, food, food!  At 5:00, we’ll have our Trunk or Treat for all the kids to fill there bags with candy and goodies (for those interested in being a “Trunk”, there’s a sign-up sheet in the Fellowship Hall).  Then, we’ll have our always exciting (and oh so cute) Costume Parade for all ages where our panel of judges will award Best Costume winners in each age group.
If you’re not in a costume sort of mood (or, if you are in costume and want to have even more fun!), be sure to take a stab at our Pumpkin Decorating Contest.  Winners will be announced at 5:30.
The festival kicks back into high gear as the games, hayrides, face painting, moon bounce, and food start back up again.  Be sure to buy a hot dog, chips, and a drink from the Youth during the festival, too!
