Middle School – Weekly Schedule
Wednesday Evenings (during the school year) – Club Youth!
During the school year, middle school students (6th-8th grades) meet on Wednesday nights for Club Youth from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Adam’s House. The Adam’s House is located at the entrance to the 51 acre property owned by Buford First (4340 Old Hamilton Mill Rd., Buford, GA 30518). During the summer, this schedule often changes so be sure to call 770-945-7438 for more information.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday School Classes are offered at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings. Prior to the start of classes, many of the youth meet in the fellowship hall with the rest of the church congregation at 9:45 am to enjoy coffee, juice, and some light breakfast snacks. Middle school students (6th-8th grades) then meet with Bradley White in Room 206 at 10:00 am.
In Sunday School, we focus on Bible Study and prayer time. The students have the opportunity to ask questions and grow in their faith in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Visitors and first timers are always welcome!
Also on Sunday mornings, Confirmation Classes for youth are offered every year beginning in February. These classes help students understand the Christian faith and church membership.
Sunday Afternoons
The Youth Band practices from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. All youth are welcome! At 4:30 p.m. the youth go to Choir Rehearsal. The Youth Choir takes trips, performs musicals, and sings in worship. Youth in 6th – 12th grade are welcome!
Sunday Evenings
All students meet on Sunday evenings from 5:15 to 7:00 pm for a night filled with fun and friends. F.L.A.M.E (Following and Living After the Master’s Example) starts at 5:15, the students have a light supper in the fellowship hall at a cost of $2 per person. The rest of the evening is spent on games and a discussion session. This Fall the Middle School students are forming small groups based on gender and school grade for sharing a discussion. We are focusing on various topics and looking at God’s Word together.
