There’ll be so much going on in the life of Buford First UMC on Saturday, May 14, 2011 that we had to create a whole page for it!

There are some amazing projects to choose from this year, including some great family opportunities and extended hours for our Sack Kids Hunger program (10am-4pm). Download the form now for a complete list and be sure to sign-up for a job that seems like the best fit for your talents. Also, all volunteers are asked to bring a box of cereal for the Gina Carswell Memorial Food Drive. Donations will be given to the North Gwinnett Co-Op, which serves local residents.

Church Picnic, 5:00 pm

ATTENTION … Church Picnic Change of Plans!

The Church Picnic and Prayer Vigil will be held in the fellowship hall at 5:00 p.m.  Due to the (current) 70% chance of rain this Saturday we are going to move the Church Picnic and Prayer Vigil to the fellowship hall.  The time is the same (5:00 p.m.) and the food and fellowship will be just as wonderful.  Plan to bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy fellowship and prayer with your church family.
