New Spirit Class
The New Spirit Class is a discussion-oriented class with a focus on Christian Living in Today’s World. This class includes single and married adults and is geared primarily toward young adults, ages 20′s to 40’s. If you are interested in attending the class or have additional questions, please come see us in Room 203 on any Sunday morning or email Suzanne Best at jsabest@yahoo.com.
Friends and Family Class
Friends and Family is a class geared toward people with school-aged children or younger. It is taught by a couple who have a combined 60 years experience in teaching Sunday School. The discussion method is used with a free flow of ideas exploring how we can live as Christians in the everyday world. Everyone is free to express themselves and ask or answer any question they might have. We believe in praying for all matters, large or small. We have prayed for everything from people with serious illness to the adjustment to a new pet. Thirdly, we believe that it’s important to associate with each other socially to form bonds of friendship. We have frequent parties and get-togethers. As a result, many deep friendships have been formed among the members of this class. We believe in the value of Sunday School and are dedicated to this class and its members. All are invited to be a part of this dynamic group which meets on the stage in the Fellowship Hall.
Beacon Class
The Beacon Class is a large mixture of ages, form youth to senior adults. Lessons are from topics that are usually covered in 5 to 12 weeks. Bible passages are studied in unique ways that make the lessons and characters come alive, and the lessons apply directly to our lives today. The Beacon Class enjoys lively discussions. The class meets in Room G-5 and is taught by several capable teachers. We encourage you to check us out and we look forward to seeing you!
Cornerstone Class
The Cornerstone Class meets in the Benson House, a two story brick house which sits behind the main building, facing Hill St. The class gathers in the living room area to the left as you enter the front door. Opinions are freely shared and there is always lots of discussion. There are several class members who take turns teaching different topics. Much of the time is spent in Bible Study. Cornerstone Class members range in age from 40 to 60. Families with children of all ages are active in the class, as well as couples and singles.
Friendship Class
This group meets in the church secretary’s office in the Benson House, which is located directly behind the main church building on Hill St. The office is furnished with some comfortable sofas and chairs. The class enjoys Bible Study together and have good discussions each week. All class members are retired, but very active! New faces are always welcome.
