On Sunday, August 15, 2021, we celebrated 150 years of worship and service at Buford First United Methodist Church (BFUMC). During the weekend, we retraced the footsteps of BFUMC and Buford’s history with a .7 mile walk down Main Street, attended a homecoming concert and sing-along, worshiped together, and enjoyed a potluck luncheon. What is the Church Board? The Church Board serves as the governing body of the church. The primary function of the Board is to serve both the congregation and the community with an emphasis on strategic leadership.
